The title track off of the record. This is the spawn of a temporary addiction to sleeping medications, and a seemingly unshakable bout of night terrors. Both of which can lead to repressed memories haunting you for nights on end. And in turn insomnia.
lyrics
Running. Running.
Sleep away your fears inside your head.
Maybe they’ll cure what you’ve gotten.
She asks why you can’t see caution.
She’s got no life but yours instead.
And she knows without you.
That she cannot survive.
And she knows without you.
She goes and she goes and she goes.
She cries herself to sleep again.
You’ve both began the same mission.
She’s got no peace of mind.
You’ve left her love behind.
You’ll never be done here and you’re never coming home alive.
And you say the darkness goes away
But I’m here to let you know that we all fade away.
She’s stolen it from me, feed into my insanity.
You know that you’re not done here,
Take a look at what you’ve done to me.
He knows what he has left behind
Like a child unknown and locked outside
The war you fight (is) alone all kept away inside your home.
It could’ve gone better however you never go.
And you say the darkness goes away
But I’m here to let you know that we all fade away.
She’s stolen it from me, feed into my insanity.
You know that you’re not done here,
Take a look at what you’ve done to me.
Ill tell you I’ve got your back
So when you fall I’ll step aside
I’ll make you think I’m here for you
When in reality I… I
Lie to me; I’ll never stop to end you.
Sleep away your fears inside your head.
Maybe they’ll cure what you’ve gotten.
Why can’t she see, what she’s doing to me.
He says that he can’t be free. He said he’s running from it running from it.
The light will come our way.
But I’m here to let you know that we all fade away.
She’s stolen it from me, feed into my insanity.
You know that you’re not done here,
Take a look at what you’ve done to me.
What you’ve done to me.

I the mighty are great guys who we have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. And who we have watched grow since we discovered them in early 2012. They are making waves now. But soon - tsunamis. The Few.
We haven't (yet) played with these dudes but we can feel the authenticity in their music & we respect the hell out of that. Very honest and true music. Jamming them on tour. The Few.
Another band we're glad we shared the stage with. Met Matt years ago when his first project from NJ came through STL and we hit it off. Now just waiting till the next time we can tour together again. The Few.
