We all have inner demons. Those we sometimes lie to protect. When someone attempts to expose those demons it can push us to our breaking point; either to deep within the confines of our own minds, or to lashing out at our attackers. Nevertheless, those demons define us.
lyrics
Say to me your world.
The one inside your head.
Where you live and this whole world is dead.
Where no one laughs at you for who you are.
Where they all can see the little red lie’s scar
All the lies that you can’t see
They fill a darker side of me
I feel the same inside of you
The little red lie (is) coming through now
Promise me, Promise me, Promise me
You’ll take this way too far.
Promise me, Promise me, Promise me
The end is red and scarred like you.
Say what you like it means nothing to me.
She says to them, they laugh maniacally.
We know all about what you have done.
Who you are here with, and where you come from.
All the lies that you can’t see
They fill a darker side of me
I feel the same inside of you
The little red lie (is) coming through now
Promise me, Promise me, Promise me
You’ll take this way too far.
Promise me, Promise me, Promise me
The end is red and scarred like you.
Thinking quickly now she sees them run she grabs her knife.
Her thoughts are racing, blood is pumping, she’s in overdrive.
And from the shadows she emerges as she takes a breath.
A million like her through her now they all take a step.
This is the end of it.
The hardest part of this.
Promise me. Promise me, promise me,
You’ll take this way too far.
Promise me, Promise me, Promise me
The end is red, and scarred like you.

I the mighty are great guys who we have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. And who we have watched grow since we discovered them in early 2012. They are making waves now. But soon - tsunamis. The Few.
We haven't (yet) played with these dudes but we can feel the authenticity in their music & we respect the hell out of that. Very honest and true music. Jamming them on tour. The Few.
Another band we're glad we shared the stage with. Met Matt years ago when his first project from NJ came through STL and we hit it off. Now just waiting till the next time we can tour together again. The Few.
