All you hear today on the news or in conversation is about our differences. Be them political, ideological, religious, or economical there seems to be a focus on whats difference and an indifference to what is shared. Lately our country has become more divided than ever. Not solely thanks to any person in particular, but to a history of division that has been festering under the surface for decades. Now brought out by more insensitively outspoken groups these divisions turn into words, and those words into actions. Actions that in-turn fuel more hate, more hair trigger decisions, and more misunderstanding.
All of which, can be solved if we begin to focus on our similarities and what we share and start to place less gravity on what divides us into groups. We won't believe the rhetoric. We won't believe this is just 'the way it is'. We won't believe we're all so different.
lyrics
The skeleton in me is not my only one.
Dead or alive exterminate and kill the smoking gun.
Hook up the chair, pull the switches, leave us hanging there.
Kill the divide, stop the machine, I’m pulling out my hair.
Listen up, point your guns up tell me.
Save yourself, save us all, break the T.V.
Broadcast outcast, can you save me?
Work it out, spread the news, spread the hating.
We won’t believe.
The cynic message that you say has always been a lie.
The people listen, follow orders, struggle eye for eye.
The opposition lead this mission never to be done.
High and mighty fall the hardest. Yours has just begun.
We won’t believe what you say.
Tell us how we will exterminate.
We’re hoping to see how this pans out for you.
Tell me who has done this to you.
Roll out let the bombs drop baby.
Saddle up kids we’re tired of waiting.
Oh! Grab your gear out the door on the road now.
Speed it up slam your foot to the floor.
We won’t believe what you say.
Tell us how we will exterminate.
We’re hoping to see how this pans out for you.
Tell me who has done this to you.
The skeleton in me is not my only one.
The skeleton in me is not my only one.
The skeleton in me is not my only one.
It’s not my only one, it’s not my only. Oh.
We’re coming back now. Oh.
On the attack now. Oh.
We’re coming back now. Oh.
On the attack and!
We won’t believe what you say.
Tell us how we will exterminate.
We’re hoping to see how this pans out for you.
Tell me who has done this to you.
We won’t believe.
We won’t believe.
We won’t believe.
We won’t believe.

I the mighty are great guys who we have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. And who we have watched grow since we discovered them in early 2012. They are making waves now. But soon - tsunamis. The Few.
We haven't (yet) played with these dudes but we can feel the authenticity in their music & we respect the hell out of that. Very honest and true music. Jamming them on tour. The Few.
Another band we're glad we shared the stage with. Met Matt years ago when his first project from NJ came through STL and we hit it off. Now just waiting till the next time we can tour together again. The Few.
